POMS Password Reset Process
This document is a comprehensive user guide for the Excellon TVSM application and provides a detailed overview of all the features of the product including stepwise instructions for Password Reset Process.
The Excellon TVSM application user interface consists of the following sections.
There are 4 ways to reset the POMS password.
Process
1:
To access the POMS user Interface:
1. Go to the Excellon 5.5 application, you will see the following section link Server, User name, password and Forget Password.
2. Click the Forget Password? (highlighted)
3. You will directly go into new window to reset your password, enter the User
name & Email address that you've associated with your account.
4. You will receive temporary password on your E-mail to login and change the password after login.
Process 2:
1. Go to the TVSM application and click on” Options” (directed).
2. Notification
popups like Change Password.
Please Enter your Old password followed with New password and
confirm New password, Click on OK.
Process 3:
1. If your password has expired so you must log in into POMS and
Notification pops out like “Your Password has expired. You need to change
your password to log in to the system, please change your password”
2. Notification popup like Change Password. Please Enter your Old password and
Enter your new password again confirm your New password, Click on Ok
1. If password expiry date is 5 days after, a notification message pops up on “Right hand bottom window” starts prior 5 days of expiry till 1 day left as “Your password expires in 1/2/3/4/5 days. please click here to change your password”.
2. Follow the 2nd step of 3rd process, for password reset.
